Message	...perhaps consider materials science or mech engineering with a minor in material science? Material science has been a hot area.... PS - I've never regretted getting an undergraduate degree in engineering -- very useful skills for lots of things and I while I'm no longer in engineering, my day to day job is in general business with a technology company (and knowing engineering helps a lot).
